En Bruto, on Salesas, is a 400-square-metre indoor courtyard with its own bakery behind glass, a kombucha lab in the back room, and coffee from single-origin beans that change every month. If the coffee doesn't give you the productivity boost you need, the aroma of fresh bread and coffee will.

Whatever your feelings about Starbucks, this one earns it. Spain's first flagship, built across two floors inside the Bernabéu with full views of the pitch through floor-to-ceiling glass. On matchdays it becomes a VIP hospitality lounge. On weekday mornings it becomes one of the most architecturally absurd places in Madrid to answer emails, and that is meant as a compliment.
