From Serrano to Plaza del Marqués de Salamanca

In the north of Salamanca, there is a passage named after the philosopher José Ortega y Gasset. Other streets may have more volume, but this one has the maisons, with every major French and Italian house situated between Serrano and the Plaza.

Worth glancing down the cross streets as you walk, particularly south along Lagasca and Velázquez, where the barrio opens up.
