The space itself is a work of art, worth the visit on its own. The atmosphere feels like a 1950s Scottish mansion, where alongside the coffee you can take home collectibles, antiques and scented candles.

The coffee is just as extraordinary as the decor, especially the Salted Caramel and Pumpkin Spice lattes. Just keep in mind that while you are welcome to wander through and explore the shop, the coffee is take-away only.

Casa Victoria is such a stylish and charming spot that they even film a podcast on the very sofa where you were drinking an iced latte a few hours earlier.

The coffee is as good as you'd hope and there are plenty of food options to choose from. It's the perfect place to bring your laptop and get some work done, or to meet up for a group brunch with friends after a run in El Retiro.

Barcelona’s most famous brunch spot has just opened its doors in Madrid, and honestly, it’s absolutely brilliant. All their lattes are fantastic, but the cinnamon rolls are the real stars of the show. That said, you can't really go wrong with anything on the menu as there are so many great brunch options to choose from.

The space is lovely and spacious, with two beautifully designed floors that feel really cosy. Plus, the staff are incredibly friendly and will give you some delicious recommendations.

Café de la March

Assuming you're already a person of culture who has visited the Juan March for an exhibition or a concert, the Café de la March gives you another reason to stop by. Both the coffee and the pastries are delicious, and you can borrow a book from the library inside the café to read while you finish your cup.

The space was originally designed by José Luis Picardo in 1975 and has been recently renovated, so the whole place looks impressive.
